This class will give you some tips, tricks and pointers on how to tackle flowers with watercolors. We will explore different leaves and flowers as well as go over different watercolor techniques to help give depth to your paintings. We will use wet into wet and wet on dry techniques in this class. Some experience with watercolor would be helpful but is not necessary.
Materials needed:
-A set of brushes- mixed media or watercolor specific preferred. Should have a variety of tips to allow detail work and larger layers for leaves and color
-Watercolor sketchbook- preference of 5.5" x 8.5" or larger. Mixed media sketchbooks also work
-Set of watercolor paints with mixing area- beginner sets with half pans work great. Preference of at least 2 yellows, 2 reds and 2 blues to allow adequate color mixing for variety
-Paper towel or rag
Any questions about materials please feel free to reach out to me. No need to buy new supplies if you already have some! We can make it work, this is a beginner friendly class- Alexis Jones
